Annual checkpoints following the reflections carried out during weekly workshops, the seminars open up new practices, suggest additional fields for experimentation, and allow the team to share a common ambition. Held in regions where major projects are located, these sessions bring the entire team together to visit operations in which the agency has already tested or is developing methods for analysing and intervening in existing buildings. The whole of dd.a, accompanied by engineering offices and clients, comes together around a theme derived from the perspectives on ongoing projects. True laboratories for experimentation, these moments allow projects to be reconsidered from different angles while exploring a region, its sites, and its architecture—sources of inspiration that enrich each participant’s practice.
