Awarded on 18 November in Paris, the 42nd Équerre d’Argent recognises the rehabilitation of the upper station of the Salève Cable Car in Monnetier-Mornex, Haute-Savoie. The jury, chaired by Iwona Buczkowska, praised the virtuosity and humility of the approach to restoring and transforming this 1930s infrastructure within its exceptional landscape. The 2024 edition of the architecture awards from the magazines AMC and Le Moniteur honoured, in each competition category, projects remarkable for their intrinsic qualities and precision.
